VELUX CONVERSIONS

Velux conversions are a great way to add natural light to your conversion, which gives the feeling of a bright open space. They have a wide variety of styles and sizes, and are made to the highest quality. With a Velux conversion, the roofline remains untouched, meaning there is less structural work needed, with less disruption to your home. It also allows your property to stay in keeping with the surrounding area. This type of conversion is attractive to many due to the lower cost.

DORMER CONVERSION

Dormer Conversions are extremely popular at the moment because they give you a more practical ceiling height to work with, which means they are perfect for En suites, wardrobes, and allow more flexibility with regards to the layout of the stairs, which in turn can leave more free space. With rules being relaxed regarding loft conversions, the majority of dormer conversions can now be constructed under Permitted Development.

This means there is no need for planning permission. There are many different styles when it comes to dormers. The finish can vary in size and colour, with many choices of window types. This gives our clients the opportunity to put their own twist and style on their loft, making each and every project different and bespoke.

HIP TO GABLE CONVERSION

Hip to gable conversions can be done when an existing roof that has a hip and makes the loft space smaller and shrinks the area that could be converted. We can change this by building the existing side wall straight up, to form a new triangular gable end and the existing roof can be filled in with new rafters, felt and tiles. This intern increases the amount of usable space which normally helps with getting the new stairs up over the existing set of stairs.
